I wrote this a while back but never finished... enjoy... Ok, so it's been months since I blogged. It's probably that time of year again haha. Ok let's see. Camp was amazing. I God helped me lead a couple kids to Him. I had some really great cabins all summer.

Thank you all so much for all of your prayers!!!
I'm finally feeling almost back to my normal self.
I get worn out quickly and sleep around 12 hours still but...
other than that things are pretty good.
Still don't have much of an appetite but that'll come back eventually...
I go tomorrow to get my blood drawn again to check my liver
and Friday I'll find out at my doctors appointment how thats doing and
hopefully get the OK to go back to my normal life. ha.

All around though I'm feeling and doing a LOT better.

I've been a little down...(yesterday was really hard)
but my mom said it is one of like the side affects or something to Mono?..
plus i got some really bad news that a friend of mine was killed in a car accident while i was sick. so...thats been hard too.

I drove for the first time in around a month yesterday....it was just uptown to the store and back but it felt really good. and today i drove again to one of the next towns over to take something to my dad. so getting out has been nice.

alright well i'm off to go do some other stuff....

Thank you all again for all of your prayers and I'd still appreciate them as I continue to get better.

I'll update you all again when we find out the test results for my liver.

"hey everyone....

I'm writing this to ask you all to please pray for me...
I'm very sick. :( I started to not feel good Monday afternoon.
It started with just my joints aching. Tuesday morning around 5 am
I woke up freezing cold and shivering so badly that my whole body was shaking.
Same thing happened again on Tuesday. I'd wake up freezing cold around 5 am and then later on around 9ish I'm sweating heart racing and feeling like i cant breathe.
Wednesday my mom took me to the doctors. I had a fever of 106 and I was having a really hard time breathing. the doctor thought i had pneumonia and sent me for x-rays but the x-rays came back negative. So we're not really sure whats going on.... the doctor has put me on an antibiotic and an inhaler to help me breathe. I wasn't getting enough oxygen and couldn't move air through my lungs.
It was rather scary. But anyways....today is Thursday....and I had a really bad night with all of this. Thankfully my mom woke up and decided to check on me this was around 5 am. the medication to keep my fever down was completely out of my system and I couldn't move on my own because of how weak i was and my heart was racing and I couldn't hardly breathe. It was really scary...and....I'm still really scared. :(

so....yeah with all of that being said....please please pray that I start getting better.....and if not...then please pray that the doctors can figure out whats wrong....My doctor was really confused about this cause she was really sure that i had pneumonia....and with that being negative if I'm not getting better within a couple of days they're going to do tests to find out what is going on....one of the tests that my doctor already mentioned has to do with poking me in the spine....

"ok....so here's the long awaited update....

I went to the emergency room early this morning (Monday).
My temp was back up to 103 when i woke up this morning...and was
only back down to 100.9 when we got to the ER.
The hospital is about 45 mins to an hour away from our house...
I think it took us roughly 30 mins to get there this morning.
Dad flew...ha. but anyways...so we get there...they do the basic stuff..
take my temp, check my heart rate...which was out of control.
and a few other important things like ask if i'm allergic to any medications.
they then take me to an exam room and draw blood, put an IV in, check my
ears and throat.....and the doctor says..''Strep. its a classic case.'' so they do a strep test... Negative. so I'm really dehydrated so they're pumping me with fluids as fast as they can....and needing me to pee in a cup...(great fun...its harder than squatty potties people...trust me. :-P ) I couldnt go though at fist...so... they then did a spinal tap.
I really liked my Doctor...he was really nice and told me what all was going on.
so they did the spinal tap (which your numb for) and...i have to say....it felt really weird. I cant really even describe it to you. it didnt hurt at all just felt really weird.
THEN he shows me the needle. haha. yeahhh....that was...a really big needle.

ANYWAYS after several tests and a few hours later...
the doctor comes back and tells me ''You have Mono.''
and that I have a really sever case of mono...
it came back in my blood work (which was the FIRST tests they ran...)
but I really really needed all of the fluids they put in to me.

soooo......after feeling really crappy for a week already...I get to still feel crappy for who knows how much longer...yay me! *(please note...that was REALLY REALLY sarcastic.) Theres really nothing they can do for Mono just keep my fever down and lots of rest and liquids. Thank you all so much for all of your prayers...and please continue to pray that I get better soon and that none of my friends or family get sick.

"first off...
Thank you all so much. I really appreciate the prayers.

so a quick updateish type thing....
I had more blood work done yesterday...
follow up appointment today....
basically my spleen is enlarged (which is common for Mono)
but...something is really messed up with my Liver.
I didnt understand everything but from what my doctor said
normal, healthy function ranges in a number from 9 to 51 ....
My liver...is over 600 right now. (which is bad.) she was hoping that
from Monday (when i went in to the ER) till today that it would have gone down...
but it has actully gone up by more than 100. (it was a little over 500 monday)
I guess from what the doctor said is that with the liver function being so bad
it can mess up my blood platelets (the stuff that makes your blood clot and stop
you from bleeding to death) she said that I'm a really lucky girl because as of yesterdays blood work my platelets are normal.
well we all know I'm not lucky. I have a TONNNN of people praying for me and I really really appreciate all of your prayers....they're whats keeping me alive right now.

it's about time

Sooooooo, it's been ... a really long time. *cough* *cough* It has been about 2 months since updating my blog. I know for a fact that it will be at least 5 weeks before I write a new one! Since my last blog Bee and I had our 4 month and went to go see Pirates 3. I rather enjoyed it. Good movie.

I am getting my car worked on now. Hopefully will get done soon. I pray it does. Will you pray too?

CIT (Training for Camp) Week was last week. I personally, had a wonderful time. I actually grew a lot more than I thought I would. Last week got me very excited for the next five weeks. We sat through some long sessions. I met some really cool people. I got really close to some godly Men and Women. Very fun times. Nights were a bit crazy. Mixed emotions seemed to flow more at night. While trying to fall asleep I missed a lot of people I love. I went on a six hour hike, the food was ok. I can't complain. God blessed me/us with a wonderful week! God has been great.

Bee came to pick me up Friday after CIT week. We went back to her house for a while and hung out. Had a cook out. An older couple came over to eat and fellowship. After a while Bee had to go babysit some kids. So, I went with her. The youngest kid was terrified of me :P. I actually took a nap while watching Hercules with the older two boys. After "helping" Bee babysit we went back to her house. I sat around listening to her play the keyboard. Then I went to the couch and slept good all night. The next morning I got up, had some cereal, and woke Bee up. We started to build Picnic tables for Bee graduation party. I actually had a pretty good time doing that. At 2:30 we left to go to Bee and Ash-sis' Piano Recital. That went good. They both can play really well. :) After the recital we went outside and swam in the in ground pool and ate hot dogs. I had a good time. We went back to the C-fams' and I packed and left to be picked up in H-city.

I am excited about Independence Day. Bee is coming over and we are going to the Lake for the day. It will be a good time. Saturday is her Graduation party, and then I'm off to camp again. Prayer is well needed. I love you all, God bless~ ~Dowe

A Pirates Life For Me

Where do I begin? Where did I leave off? Oh yes, a month ago at S-sis and D-bro's wedding. Well, S-sis and D-bro moved to Alabama. Sara didn't really like it down there so; S-sis and D-bro are now back in Albion, NY with his father. They are hoping to move closer to here in the near future.

Well, I haven't been able to visit HCollege this semester as often as I would have liked, due to the lack of a car. Hopefully that won't be a factor next semester, and I hope that the people I love will still be there next semester! Gah! You guys better be!!!

Nothing to exciting has happened the past month. No-bro turned 10 and H-sis turned 6.
However, I did got to Bee's last weekend and slept there. =O Don't you worry it was all clean. It had to be, we were with her parents and/or Ash-sis the whole time. :D I had a really good time.
*WARNING IF YOU DON'T WANT TO READ ABOUT MY WEEKEND SCROLL DOWN TO THE NEXT PARAGRAPH*
So, I drove down to Pilot truck stop last Saturday at quarter to 3 to meet up with Bee . Mom then took the van to corning and left me there. Bee showed up and we went in the store to buy Peanut Butter M&Ms. They were pretty good, I must say. Then we both got into her car and drove to her grandmother's house where her uncle (who wanted to meet me) was doing some work on the house. So we stopped there and I met J-Uncle for the first time. After that, we drove down to her house and sat around like bums until it was time to leave for a concert that her father wanted to go to. At 4:00 we took of, hit a McDonald's on the way and I had a Sierra Mist and a Big Mac (a #1). We showed up at the church that this guy was going to be singing at (don't ask because I don't remember). He was a good singer, and the preaching wasn't bad but I was bored so Bee, Ash-sis, and I all started to color with colored pencils haha. After about 2 hours of the concert we drive another 2 hours back to P-town. On the way back we stopped at a mirrored McDonald's and I ordered a Oreo McFlurry. It was then that the ice cream machines needed filling and we had to wait for like 10 minutes. So we waited and we got free cookies and a free soda out of it. haha :D Such nice people! After McDonald's we headed home, er to Bee's home. When we got back it was about 11:30. We got ready for bed, I slept in Bee's bed and she slept in her sisters room. I personally didn't sleep the greatest, between her father having the radio on all night, the cat jumping on Bee's dresser, me waking up 'randomly' at 4:30 ;), and then her mother getting up at 5:00 to make breakfast. I got about; maybe 4 hours of sleep. At 8:00 Mrs. C. then opened the door and told me that breakfast was ready. I rolled over and almost fell back asleep. Bee then came in to wake me. So, we went to the dinner table and ate. I mostly ate the biscuits, being that I don't really like breakfast foods :P, but I had to be polite. Breakfast was over and we hurried up and got ready for Church. Went to church, then came back home. We got changed into more comfortable clothes. Bee and I then made brownies and played flash games for a bit. Then we ate Lunch/Dinner. We had roast beef and vegetables. I must say the bread was good too. MMMM After lunch Bee, Ash-sis and I all went on a walk to the lake and sat out there for a while, skipped stones. It was very pleasant. We then walked backed and then drove to the playground where I had a lot of fun. Bee got her foot stuck in a snow pile. Haha we also had ice cream after the playground. After the playground we drove back and stopped at the creek. We played "Pooh Sticks" haha Ask her about that. Then I banged my knee really hard getting back into her car. :P I'm way to clumsy. After that we waited around a little bit then drove to Walmart in H-city where I was dropped off. I was very sad to go.

I got a letter in the mail yesterday saying and I quote: "Dear Dowe, Your application for service at Lamoka Baptist Camp has been reviewed and we are excited to inform you that you have been accepted!". That means I am going to be a camp Counselor for the summer. I will be unreachable for a week. Then I have a week off. Then unreachable for 5 weeks in a row. It's going to be good all the way around! For my spiritual growth mostly. So, I'm all excited about that. Please keep me in your prayers. Seriously!

It's mine and Bee's 3 month today. HAPPY 3 MONTHS! I get to see her tomorrow for a few hours... Probably close to 3 hours.

So I urge you, Please pray for me and my Spiritual growth the next couple months. I want to be a great Counselor. Someone who the boys I counsel will never forget. Someone who will help them with their spiritual growth. It is a huge responsibility. I don't know how many of my friends still pray, :\ I'm praying for all of you. your mom upside down is... wow

...and wow is one of the many expressions going through my head right now. Yeah, so I know I haven't "written" a Blog since Valentine's Day, and that wasn't even a good one. Sorry about that. So a lot has happened since then.

I got accepted into UAT, (University of Advancing Technology). I am very excited about that. I am going to be a Game Designer... WAHOO! I am super psyched about that! (Yes Lara, I just said super psyched.)

What else is new? Oh, I sent in my application to Lamoka Baptist Camp. I am hoping to get the job as a camp Counselor. If I get the job I get to see my wonderful baby more often. Honestly, that's not why I applied though. I feel that God wants me to do something for him this summer. If I don't get this job, I guess I was wrong. Keep me in your prayers.

I got my license... finally! haha

On Saint Patrick's day I went over to Jessica's grandmothers house. I had cabbage, and tried corn beef for the first time. It was pretty good actually. Yeah, I got along with that side of the family, still have to see if I get along on the Cartwright side. |crosses fingers| We played a bunch of card games. I was taught quite a few I didn't know. All in all I had a good time.

My birthday was the 24th of this month, didn't really do MUCH on my actual birthday. I got the new Relient K "Five Score and Seven Years Ago" cd, Braveheart, Departed, and some other miscellaneous items. Then the 25th Bee came over and I got some sweet gifts from her. We took a walk to the school playground, swung on the swings, goofed around... just had a very pleasant day with her!

Yesterday was S-sis's wedding. Congratulations to S-sis and D-bro. I had a great time. The food was great, and my Date was amazing. I love her so much. So S-sis needed someone to drive her car home and its standard, so that limits the amount of people that can actually drive it. So, Bee, being the sweet-heart that she is said that she doesn't mind driving it. So, Bee, Aarbear, and I all drove home in S-sis' car, (which, by the way is for sale). D-bro and S-sis wrote the directions all out for us. We missed a turn somewhere near Mount Morris and a one and a half to a two hour drive turned into a three hour drive home. Wasn't a HUGE deal. We made it home safely, and that's all that matters! Then we chilled at home for a little bit before Bee had to drive herself home. I had a great time with her as always. I love her so much. I can't say that enough. Bee is the most amazing girl ever! We have been dating for over 2 months now!

♥ 01.27.07 ♥ Well it's official!! She's Mine! Bee is my girlfriend and I am very happy! I called up her father and he pretty much gave me the go-ahead! I am so happy with her. I really honestly can not remember the last time I was this happy! She has come over a couple times now but last time on January 27th I made her my girlfriend officially. w00t! I get to see her Friday also; I am going to her youth group retreat in P-burgh.

Wow! It has been a long time since I made a post; so sorry for the ones reading this if anyone really does.

Where to start, probably where I left off.

I am going to JCC this semester starting Tuesday! (I'm getting a lot of; "Oh, I should warn my friends that go there") LOL! It's ok, because I am not technically "going" to JCC. I am taking online courses. I am taking four courses this semester... Introduction to Computer Science, Microcomputer Hardware and Systems Software, Principles of Financial Accounting, and English Composition I (SL2)... but that doesn't start until the twenty-ninth of this month. After JCC I might be taking Summer courses online too. (Not sure about that one) Fall 2007 I am hoping to start at Alfred State for my Associates degree in Computer Art and Design. After two years in Alfred State, I'm hoping to join the gaming industry!

I got really sick for like two weeks at the end of November with Mono. My throat almost closed all the way, My spleen got really big, I was on the couch for about two weeks. Had a check-up Friday and everything is back to normal... in the words of my doctor: "You can now play rough." Haha, that's funny because I've been playing paintball, hockey, and working... so go figure!


I hung out with Edel one day over Christmas, that was most fun!

So finally I registered for my driving test on January twenty-ninth. Prayer for good weather and my actual test would be much appreciated!

Last Tuesday Houghton College started back up, so I went there and saw some of my friends I hadn't seen in a very very long time! It was amazing to see them!

So there's this certain girl that needs to make a website for her father, so she IMs me. We got together Saturday. Hung out from two until like eight fifteen-ish... come to find out we have feelings for each other. So we got some of the website done... she'll just have to come back so we can finish it! It was very sad to watch her go... and this song is for her:
